Shamel is from Amman. He is young and talented. Shamel makes insanely beautiful pictures. I have never seen shots better than these.
He answered my questions and paid attention to some of his photo works.

Fatima:Tell me a little bit about yourself?

Shamel: Well, I graduated my high school 3 years ago and then I started studying at the university as a graphic designer. I had chosen photography to be a part of my life. Like any guy at my age I want to make difference and to be successful in life and career. I took photography as a career because I felt that it's a great and fun thing to do and you can describe yourself with the pictures you take! I started taking pictures with my mobile phone, and took pictures of everything my eyes saw as a good shot.

Fatima: Where is home?

Shamel: For me home is the place where you feel safe and where you can feel that you give all of you to make something look simply amazing. For me it also depends on the country you live in...The more you love the place the more impressive results you give in your work.

Fatima: If you could live anywhere on this awesome planet where would you build your dream home?

Shamel: It would be America..I think it's the best place to build your dreams in...I think that there are so many opportunities to catch.

Fatima: What is your current state of mind before we continue with the interview?

Shamel: My latest mind state...actually lately I've been thinking a lot of something personal.. I prefer not to talk about it.

Fatima: Did you go to school to study photography?

Shamel:
I didn't go to any photography school...I started the whole thing by myself.

Fatima: What type of cameras do you shoot with?
Shamel:
The camera type o I use is Nikon D3100.

Fatima: What is your favourite photography accessory, other than your camera?

Shamel: It depends on the picture...but I think with a tripod and a zoom lens you would take amazingly perfect shots.

Fatima: How important is Photoshop in your final images?

Shamel: Actually Photoshop is an important element in photography...for filtering and editing the pictures, it would change the whole Features of the pictures for a better result.

Fatima:How much planning do you do for each shoot, and how much happens naturally?

Shamel:
To be honest I use google to search for places where I want to take pictures. This is how I plan the shooting I guess!

Fatima: Whose photoshoot was the most memorable?

Shamel: It was with one of my best friends. We went to the desert for a photoshoot..
the photoshoot was about a music album for one jordanian artist.

Fatima: Who was the funniest subject?

Shamel: Ii think it's the kittens I took pictures of ! They were playing and jumping like crazy and it was kind of funny.

Fatima: If you could photograph a historical figure, who would it be?
Shamel: It would be Che Guevara.

Fatima: Are there any photographers or artists who have inspired your work?

Shamel: There is no specific person, but there are so many pages and accounts on Instagram and Facebook I follow and I can say that it catches your sight.

Fatima: You’re also in a band, would you say that there are many similarities to making music and “making” photos?

Shamel: Of course there are so many similarities between them, because music is made to keep connection with people in one way or another, and photography as well, for me every pictures is a song, every picture has a story to tell just like the songs...so in the end both are made to create the atmosphere around you.

Fatima: Could you talk a little about your upcoming project?

Shamel: I'm thinking of taking more pictures and making an album for them and upload them on a page or website to share them for the foreign countries if I could.

Fatima: Is photography the only thing you do for a living or is it your living at all?
Shamel: I never got paid for any picture...but I'm looking forward to start doing this as a career in my life just after I gain more experience.

Fatima:What is photography for you?

Shamel: For me photography is a way to keep connecting with everything around you, from people to nature, and to share what you see with your eyes to the people around you. It's a great way to express your feelings.
